Here's the new cover for THE WAKING: DREAMS OF THE DEAD. Bloomsbury has decided to go for a different cover treatment on the trilogy and wanted to re-release the first book with the new treatment so that the subsequent books will be uniform. This comes out in September, with the 2nd and 3rd to come quickly thereafter. Thoughts?

Love it. Love the book, love the new cover.
This series always made me think of books like Jun-on, and the old cover was evocative of a mix between the movies The Grudge and Lost in Translation. This new cover is amazing! It really brings out the fear readers will feel when they read it! I really, really loved the book and am so anxious for the next.
